Whiskey creek Racing is an association from the nanaimo-Qualicum region of Vancouver island.
The whiskey Creek riding area is based out of melrose road whiskey creek, Qualicum. There is approximately 25km of tight single track trail that keeps you on edge every second of your ride. It is a challenge to maneuver through the tight kept trees. Most of the area is loose granular material with some muddy sections and some challenging smaller hills. There is not much for technical challenges in the 25 km of trail, but the club directors have secret trails to test riders abilities. WCR events for the 2012 year:
The Roots of Doom Hare Scramble is coming!!!April 3rd will mark the 1st race of the PNWMA calender. It is also the 2nd round of the new VIHS Series. It will be a great event for everyone racing and everyone involved. WCR has been building new trails to incorperate into this years race. The loop will be approximately 22 km with no A/B split. With most A riders having to push 4- 5 laps, will be a true test of endurance without putting an A section in.
