Trail Building Workshop

VIDRA is hosting a workshop for trail design and building techniques that promote sustainable single track. 
This is a two-day trail building workshop and is opening a limited number of seats to all dirt bike riders, and other recreational trail users.

2015 VIHSS Awards Night

Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 7 PM 2015 VIHSS Awards Night

  • Coffee, tea & snacks
  • Cash bar available
  • Tickets $25 at the door.

There are special room rates available if you plan on staying the night at the hotel.There will be a VIDRA meeting at 2:30 in the banquet room at the hotel.

Awards night festivites begin at 7:00pm, so there will be time to get dinner upstairs in the pub before the awards start.

VIHSS Rule Change - Awarding Work Points

    Hello VIHSS Racers, The VIDRA board would like to announce a rule change within the VIHSS. The club agreed upon this rule change at the last meeting, and now they would like to share the new ruling with all of you before the race season commences.

    With only having 6 events this year and a usual lack of volunteers the club was brainstorming ideas in ways to make it more enticing for racers to come help out with an event. Here is the ruling:

With the kickoff to the 2015 VIHSS season less than a month away, I can’t help but take stock of the ground we have covered as a dirtbike community on beautiful Vancouver Island over the last few years.  Most notably, the formation of the Vancouver Island Dirt Riders Association as a governing body for the Vancouver Island Hare Scramble Series(VIHSS).  Breaking away from the oversight of the PNWMA was a difficult decision for the Vancouver Island racers but a necessary one(in my opinion) to empower the Vancouver island dirtbiking community to forge ahead with greater autonom
